( pronounced KOR OOL AL WASS ARR )

This page is dedicated to Korul, the green gargoyle costume that I made. Korul is based upon a character from a role-playing game that I play in, and several drawings. Below you will find images of the gargoyle for you to feast upon

Who is Korul?

Korul Al-Wassar is a gargoyle, a member of the oldest race in the galaxy, a winged humanoid race called the Cabal which also includes the Kerubim (or angels) and Daemons.

The gargoyles don't have the powers of their cousins, but they alone have mastered the art of turning their flesh to stone and that secret has allowed them to survive throughout the millenia.

Korul is a gargoyle lost and separated from his race, uncertain of his origins.  The broken cabalic shield on his belt is the key to his power and his origins.  Depicted right: Korul at CF8.  I'm wearing the subwing assembly I wear to dance in.

Below are thumbnails of Korul's appearances.  Click on any one to see the full-sized image.

Korul in the Movies
Apart from the upcoming short "Beach Blanket Gargoyle", Korul is in the following AVIs (SCFA)
CF8/ CFE2
TV Guide
Korul's interview in TV Guide
Area51

Korul braves the throng of mammals, see one dare to reach out and touch his long, swishing tail [CFE2]

Korul's full wingspan.  People always had to back up another 3 steps when I spread out my wings [CFE2]

Korul looks over the crowd at CFE2.. "So many mammals.. and me on a diet <sigh>" I love the way they smile!

One of my favorite Korul pics even if you can't see his tail, the colors are just so vivid! [CFE2]

Korul just loves to mess wit dat audience, don't he.. but look at their faces!  Human smiles almost make it worthwhile coming into the hotel, even though human cars, doorways, elevators are not "gargoyle-friendly" [CFE2]

  • Its not easy being green
  • Havin to spend each day the color.. of the leaves
  • When I think it could be nicer
  • being red.. or yellow.. or gold?
  • Or something much more colorful like that
  • Its not easy being green
  • Seems you blend in with some many other.. ordinary things
  • and people tend to.. pass you over
  • Cause you're not standing out like flashy sparkles in the water
  • Or stars in the sky..
  • But.. Green's the color of spring
  • and green can be cool and friendly-like
  • and green can be BIG like a mountain
  • or IMPORTANT like a river
  • or TALL like a tree..
  • When green is.. all there is to be
  • It could make you wonder why.. but
  • Why wonder? .. why wonder?
  • I'm Green.. and it'll do fine
  • it's beautiful
  • and I think it's.. what I wanna be.
